We are 10 points up on the Blues and 11 points up on the Blackhawks.

We are 12 points up on Colorado and 13 points up on the Predators.

And yet we've played only 12 games so far. Let that sink in for a minute.

If you're not smiling, you haven't been paying attention.
I'm paying attention.....

Arniel is doing a fantastic job with this team and i love it. Bowness brought a defensive game that this team desperately needed and now Arniel is adding some offense to go with the defense. When we can still win a game that Helly isn't playing his best that's a great step forward.

This brand of hockey more fun to watch and I am sure the boys rather play like this then boring D game under Bowness
Dont get me wrong I think strong D wins championship
I am hoping Jets can gain some confidence winning high scoring games so come playoff time
if the score gets out of hand we have learn how to "push back"
Its tough to grind it out 82 games winning 3-1 or 3-2 and then suddenly in playoffs when game gets out of hand offensively we dont know how to win 6-4

Dirty players can play dirty without getting called for penalties in the playoffs, which is really valuable
Many of the great playoff players had a very dirty aspect to their game. Their ability to dish out questionable hits, etc. classic “heal” type players.

Jets are very conservative as an organization and translates to their clean style. I would argue they are the cleanest team in the league.

The Junior LeMieux was probably the only player we had in this category. Big Buff was kind of a Andre the Giant type heal.

I'd kindly settle for a tall glass of milk.

I agree with those two picks, I'd also throw in Pionk. He's certainly the type of guy that other teams want to punch in the face, and go after. I'd swear that there was a playoff game last spring were he got punched in the face, was smiling and kept chirping away, got punched again in the face, and still smiled and chirped away some more. You need those type of guys, just not with his game going off the rails like it had.

I'm just glad we're not taking stupid penalties so far this season.
