Good game. Sloppy 1st but they came back in the last 2 periods.
Zibenajad the best Jet player. I always felt like good things were gonna happen for the Jets whenever the puck was on his stick.
Hate that Fluery had to collect a minus for that 3rd Rangers goal, as goalie interference as it gets. The last Samberg penalty was also bs. Good kill though.
Rangers play a very loose brand of hockey, this is probably the most chances the Jets have had off the rush in any game this season. They generate a lot too... I guess they are content on playing like that with Shesterkin in the net.
Game was worth it even if the Jets lost just because with got the Kyle Connor "skinny neck" story out of the Rangers PbP guys.

But they only beat bad teams. I guess when you're 15-1, they're all bad teams. 
Love how Shit-sterkin turned down 8yrs, 88 million when our stud tendy isn't even making 9 million.

I saw one of the nhl talking heads saying the Jets had the second easiest schedule to start the season was the reason for their great start.
I guess beating NYR … Dallas … Avs is easy if you are the Jets.

I’m enjoying this perpetual line of thinking.
I don't think Namestikov gets the credit he deserves on this board. The guy always hustles,very fast skater, and has put up a quite a few points this year. He also doesn't get paid that much, and gives 100 % every game.. I don't think we need another 2nd line center - I'd run with Names.
One of the top goals for the Jets this year for sure!

We knew the Rangers would be a good opponent and this was definitely a great game!
Igor was really good but Helle was just...better. I wouldn't say the stats reflect how good Hellebuyck was in this game. I'm getting annoyed with these opposing players basically jousting into his pads though.
The power play looked great, the penalty kill looked good, and Vilardi's goal was a highlight reeler like crazy. I'm still in awe of that play.
The Rangers were definitely good but the Jets were just...better. But hey, at least we know that "a" Jets team can win in New York.
