McLean's goals were often off his shins and butt (cheeky one timers).
I was at a game for his 30th b-day I recall he got 2 or three goals and I don't think his stick was involved in any of them.

As someone who was finally ready to sit Cole for a game (and his biggest fan) I can say I am more than extremely pleased with this development.
Also loved the bounce for Gus.
Feels like we've had a lot of those go against over the years.
Nice to see it from the other perspective.

Great game by the guys. I don't want to hear any more talk about trading Ehlers.

I agree totally. I’ve always stated on here that Ehlers is an 80 point player if used properly, and given his deserved ice time.

Right now Ehlers is averaging over a point per game, and would have in previous years. This year he’s being used as a regular on power play # 1 , and is getting about 16 minutes a night. If he was getting 20 minutes like Scheifele and Connor, he’s a 90 point player all day long.

He’s worth $ 8.5 to 9 mil per year as a UFA, so it will be expensive to resign him, and I think they should.
