Pretty tough to take on two guys at once - he had to play the pass - unfortunately, it got throughThat Stan engaged one guy in the front of the net and it was the second guy who scored who the other d didn’t engage.,

Heinola have blocked it.Sometimes they miss on those blocks - the advantage is always with the passer who can wait you out or shoot for the holes.
I would have liked to see him block that one - but those are tough and I wouldn't call him out for missing in that situation
The Sens hung tough, pretty even game, but the Jets skill and goaltending was the difference. Enjoy the sun!Just got back from dinner in Mexico and saw the score. Headed over here to get the breakdown.
Winning >>> losing.
Of course he would have - probably would have covered them both while he was at itHeinous have blocked it.
Stan's basically alone with 3 guys below the dotsView attachment 952753
Notice the play, Stan, and the forward that is NOWHERE near the play. He's not even an offensive threat. Stan has to have that. Kupari is floating around there near Stutzle, and DeMelo is floating to the point with Namestnikov. No one's in great position there, but there's only one dangerous passing play that they could execute, which they did.
If Stan is consistently able to stop that on his own he is not a bottom pairing, but, in our top 4.View attachment 952753

If you watch the video replay, Stutzle does an amazing job of circling up high and only drifts into the back door for a split secondView attachment 952753

It would never get called out if it wasn't Stan - anyway you look at that play, we were doomedIf Stan is consistently able to stop that on his own he is not a bottom pairing, but, in our top 4.

Names is close but above the play - and he's a spectator - not sure why he didn't pick up the right side on the play - who was he covering? The points were already covered.Again, there's only one dangerous play that could have been executed at that time, which was straight through Stanley. He wasn't alone with three guys below the dots - Namestnikov was there too.
Tkachuk was on his forehand. If Stanley moves to Stutzle, he walks into the slot uncontested.Again, there's only one dangerous play that could have been executed at that time, which was straight through Stanley. He wasn't alone with three guys below the dots - Namestnikov was there too.
I mean he is a bubble player, but I do blame him for my taxes. It would never get called out if it wasn't Stan - anyway you look at that play, we were doomed
Well, they've only lost 3 games at home all year, so that's no surprise.Just got back from the game. I'm now 3 for 3 when attending a game this season.
Jets should invite me to all the home games so we won't lose.
Oops, not the first goal in the game.Looks like I got all three right in the prediction thread this time. Missed the entire game though.

Also a dangerous play
In a perfect world, Stan gets a piece of that pass. But I file it under "a play he could have made" instead of "a play he should have made"
It's like a goalie getting beaten cleanly by a shot from the top of the slot
Not easy being perfectOops, not the first goal in the game.
