If the Jets play like tonight there is no reason they can't beat the last place in the Central Predators. Must be nice to be able to roll 4 lines especially on the first of b2b games

Other than the refs with their game management, the Jets played pretty good for most of the game. After that Penguins power play goal, the Jets were on their heels, but they didn't cave. I give this game four "Chilly Willys" out of five...

Completely forgot there was a game tonight. Had an early dinner and told the better half I was going to lie down and read afterwards and she said nothing. Comes into the bedroom with under 5 minutes to go in the game and says "oh by the way the Jets are winning 3-1. Gobsmacked I was that she never said anything earlier and when I asked why she said " You needed your beauty sleep". Guess who's getting coal in her Xmas stocking?

Tuned in just in time to see KC completely undress the Pens empty net and pot a beauty goal.

17-3 at almost the quarter pole and still a couple teams in our division nipping at our heels since they too seem to refuse to lose very often.

8-2 in Movember and our first B to B coming up. 3 more of those in December.

Most seasons I'd say that based on opposition I'd be happy if we went 2-2 to close out the month but this season I want us to smash every other team into oblivion.

4/5 Skeletons, thug KFC with the Gordie Howe, Vladdy scores on his birthday, Helle 944 SV%, even thought the 3rd pairing is a little scary the D was generally solid. Bottom 6 makes this a complete team. What this team is doing atm is something special they seem like a tight knit group, winning helps I guess. Keep on collecting points.

I was thinking that during the game

He's upgraded every position to a point where there are only a few spots that need potential upgrading (2C, 1RD) but even then, the margin of improvement isn't vast

This is a solid, deep team

Maybe auditioning Vilardi for the 2C role? Or seeing what they have in terms of centers in case of injury? Ehlers took a surprising amount of faceoffs today as well. Good game as any to experiment, we have a solid point buffer and losing to Pittsburgh wouldn't be a huge deal.

Yeah Jets and Wild are 1 and 2 in the league. Things can change very quickly if a team losses 3-4 in a row.

Not the biggest Chevy supporter but getting Vladdy and Nino and the LA trade have been some seriously positive moves for this team.

I don’t blame Rutger now … if he can’t make the cut on a bad Pens team there is no way he would be playing on the jets for a few years maybe never.

Agreed. Probably knew he was several years away from a roster spot on the Jets and was looking for an easier opportunity. Too bad for him he isn’t even good enough for that.

For transparency, I think he's done an amazing job with the hand he's been dealt (small, frozen market that's on everyone's NTC AND a few big assets who've wanted out - nobody wants to come here, more than average want to leave)

Because the Penguins' AHL team played and won 5-0 and McGroarty is on the stat sheet with 0 goals, 0 assists, for 0 points and a +/- of 0.

First and foremost his teeth god damn what a smile, seriously I not that thrilled with some of his draft choices and his deadline deals have been apart from Stastny terrible. We really need to get away from the players don't want to come here, I for one am glad that over the hill FA's don't want to come here they rarely pay off.
