We won, which is good.

I guess my issue is that we aren't winning the way that we used to. We used to dictate our style of play on other teams, leveraging our four line depth, and forcing other teams into costly mistakes. We have become so conservative offensively that it often feels like we're just sitting around waiting for something to happen a lot of the time versus going out and making it happen.

We did nothing at all in this game until we got a power play and then things started up. I seriously question if that's a good game plan.

Montréal should have been one of the easier teams to dictate our style to and to force into making mistakes. That team absolutely sucks. The Jets made it hard on themselves and it really confuses me.

But again - we won, which is good.

We always struggle against the Habs for whatever reason. Tonight was no different, but thank f*** for Hellebuyck. (Hey, that rhymes!)

3/5 Skeletons tonight, always great sending the Habs fans home with a loss and knowing that there's no playoffs for them this year. Top line played well, Helle is King, Igor is not 3m better not even close. Joshua and Plinko very good, Demelo a bit better the rest, meh. We need to get 4 lines playing more consistently again and a few goals would be nice too. Wins are still coming but then seem a lot harder then earlier in the season. I guess that's why people say it's a long season.
