I think the issue was that your convos were smack dab in the middle of other discussions (probably me arguing with someone lol)

We should make more use of the OT thread. Personally, I like getting to know a little about posters on here

This past week I hit some milestones in the gym and it made me wonder how @DRW204 was doing with his workouts
I think ANY comment will always be in the middle of some discussion, can't help that.

At the risk of interrupting Busty discussing Galley, what did you achieve in the gym this week?

I hit 1X bodyweight bench press, 1.5X bodyweight squat and 2X bodyweight deadlift

Nothing crazy for seasoned lifters (I've been stronger in the past), but I had rotator cuff surgery in January so I'm pretty pumped with the rate at which I've recovered.

It was a brutal rehab, but I was diligent with it and I showed some uncharacteristic wisdom by not doing something stupid to f*** it up lol

Thanks for asking

I still read- I do truly value many of the users and opinions presented here - and I do the prediction contest, and comment and get involved during the off-season prospect ranking threads.

Have quite a bit of apathy for the team (mostly the ownership group) as hockey is not at all a priority in my life any longer.

HF lost me during 2021 & 2022 when opinions were heavily censored and only one opinion was allowed to be presented. Haven't even been in the Canada Life Centre since February 2020.

I cheer for the players on the team for certain, but ya. I have plenty of other issues and feelings about the group profiting from my attendance. So I stay home, and really don't post much at all anymore here. Hockey, to me, is a fun distraction....but not remotely important in this Country or World with everything else going on in.

Love all the members of HF Jets. That is my final & true comment for this post.
Cream rises to the top, all the best HFBoards Jets posters still here!

PS even the idiot that keeps posting: oh look, Ehlers is playing!

Apparently the coaches see something in Stanley game that most don't. Personally I think he is playing ok unfortunately when he makes a perceived mistake it seems to get magnified.
He’s very bad, TNSE are doubling down.

Marginally. I can tolerate Garrett because I remember him as the Jets colour commentator on CKND. Galley is brutally a Montreal guy who talks about the Canadiens, and even when he does colour commentary for the Jets in a non Montreal game you feel like you are the away team in that game.
My favourite commentary guy is Chris Cuthbert. I just hate having to watch leaf games to hear him.

Yeah he was the first real steal for Sportsnet.

When Ray Ferraro worked for TSN I enjoyed when he would do some of the colour analysis for the Jets games. Had some good hockey stories. Nice to see he's back in Canada again, however watching Canucks hockey can not offset Ray Ferraro's commentary to make the games interesting. If the Canucks tank maybe there's a chance we'd get him.
