Very well said. It is time to throw out all the negative narratives around here. We might not win the cup, but 79 games so far this season says we have legitimately made our way into the discussion. These aren't patsies that we are playing down the stretch, and beating them in their building should tell even the none believers that this team is a very good team and if they play the way they have to they will win more than they will lose which is very important in a seven game series
I disagree. What gets overblown around here...and everywhere else...is the advantage that the White Out crowds give the Jets, because really, they don't seem to be an advantage at all. They're a helluva lot of fun, for sure, but pretty irrelevant to the success of the team.the home ice record is really getting over blown around here...

You're right, it's been very frustrating. I try to keep in mind that during the recent losing streak, a fair number of players were suffering from what was apparently a vicious flu. I hate to make excuses, but I can't help but think that played a role in their poor play during the losing streak. How could it not?The Jets are the best team in the west when they play their game. They showed that once again tonight. It's frustrating watching them play like this and then look back on their recent losing streak. That inconsistency they suffer badly from screwed them over for first place.
It would be very interesting to look back on all the games this year to see how structured we play in front of LB as opposed to Helle. These Jets have it in them to play really sound hockey -
I wasn't sure what to expect tonight - almost thought they were mailing this one in without Helle
But they played a super structured game that had the Stars mumbling to themselves -
Great effort - and great to see against what I consider the team to beat in the west.
Stanley, cups we come!Stanley cup here we come!
But this is true for all teams. No team can keep up the consistency for 82 games. And trying to is a fools errand as it will just burn you out early. Every team this year has had their periods of looking like shit. Getting hot and being healthy come puck drop in the playoffs is all that really matters. The Jets are the best team in the west when they play their game. They showed that once again tonight. Regroup for a fresh line of attack tomorrow. It will be tougher, but some stat will be found to launch the new line of attack.
Okay thanks for that, so what were your thoughts on the game? Since it is a PGT after all.you have some seriously weird insecurities.
We had this game, with Scheif playing sub-par. If he reaches his level again Nashville, and Pionk against EDM, we’d be cooking. The Jets are the best team in the west when they play their game. I've had my times of being negative, but I agree I prefer enjoying hockey over complaining about it. Just a question back, how did you feel about tonight's game? Are you sure? I wouldn't want to possibly let a criticism slip and ruin your whole evening
