Post-Game Talk: Jets 3 - Kraken 2 in OT

Chevy picking Perfetti, Samberg and so many other young players qualifies him as a gifted GM.
Arniel is likewise far more gifted in growing young guns than PoMo.
This team is inspired and inspiring.
I’m 74 and have been waiting for a strong playoff season and a Cup for a long time.
Watching Jets has been a Perfecto rehab for my open heart surgery in December.
Go Jets Go!

WHATS SH!T SHOW THAT WAS

Glad you are doing so well, old horse. :)

Of course, my home internet cuts out just before overtime starts and comes back on after Samberg scores, so I missed the exciting three-on-three. The Jets seem to have a tough time against the Kraken, but the results speak for themselves tonight. A win is a win is a win. Another two points up on the rest of the Central Division is always a good thing. I give this game three "Monty Pythons" out of five...

The Prediction Contest for the game against the Canuckleheads has been posted for your guesses. I had a bit of time this afternoon and created a GDT for the Vancouver game. See you on Tuesday! Good night...

Between Connor and Scheifele and Morrissey and Ehlers and Perfetti and even Namestnikov, are there any other teams in the NHL that have as many excellent puck handlers that the Jets do?

No one is perfect, least of all Chevy, but throughout his career, he has more Ws than Ls, but more importantly, a few of his Ws are home runs, while none of his Ls are disasters. And if he does get cornered (Trouba, Kane, etc.) he has shown a consistent gift at turning chicken shit into chicken salad. I wouldn't ask for more out of a GM if it meant risking we got less.

That's a tough rehab. Hope you are feeling better.

I feel like Seattle is a better team than their record, they always play the Jets hard. Maybe it's coaching with them, but that's a team I had as a playoff team.

Like the way the Jets stuck with it. Samberg's value goes up every game, but I did notice the right side didn't generate much offense without Pionk.

Great game by Perfetti, he's getting better each game now. Great game by the 4th line again.

Am I the only guy besides Sip a little disappointed in Appleton game after game. I know he's the veteran and he's earned his spot but I do wonder if Kupari would generate more offense with his skating.

Nice to see the team in front of Eric Comrie starting to win some games for him.

Keep everyone in the rear view mirror in this season to remember.

Mentioned this during the GDT, bump Apples to the PB for a few games, Tanev to the 3rd line and Rasmus centering the 4th, probably never happens though
