The tears from their site is priceless. What a holes.

Anywho having a great train ride home. Oh man there were these drunk little foxes in Jets gear. It's difficult being spoken for and being honourable. Hurray Jets!

When Mark gets the puck with a bit of space, I kinda get that feeling that I get when Hossa is open and Toews has the puck, or when Datsyuk gets a pass in the neutral zone.

It's just that feeling that something is about to happen, the kind of thing that I don't have the hockey sense to even visualize on tv until it's already happened. (or the kind of thing you'd never really visualize cause it's a bit unreasonable to think it'd ever work, until it does...)

Not to say that Schief is as good as those guys, (or ever will be) because he certainly isn't yet, but it certainly does feel like his vision is elite. Which is one of very few things that I believe to be talent more than practice. You can get stronger or faster or more accurate, but weights and skates won't make you more aware.

Also, I got curious and sorted that list by TOI, and saw that Trouba is leading all rookies in TOI per game, which is a pretty good sign of coming into the league and being a contributor right away.

Fun game to watch. I spent most of the third trying to will Scheifele into getting another point.

Calgary was obviously not very good, but it's nice that Maurice gets three games against struggling teams before the huge challenge of the upcoming Western road games.

The Jets rookies contributing again. Scheif is now 4th in rookie scoring (leading all rookies in assists).

Yep, my feelings exactly.

Another thing about Scheifele is that he's pretty fearless. He puts himself in some heavy traffic situations, and often finds himself in spots where he's liable to get rocked, yet it doesn't seem to phase him.

So wait...if we lose our team, can we just move them to Calgary and have the Flames fold? Judging by the crowd tonight, seems like that may improve attendance.

:D

Solid game by all. No real weak spots. Good insight by Ollie as to the difference. Namely players made aware of where/who they are supposed to take on the ice

.... also that they are not pressuring the point in the defensive zone instead of letting them "pass D to D ten times".

Didn't realize that Scheif was also named first star!

I didn't even think it was one of Scheifele's stronger games of late (had a bit of the dropsies again), but he is reaching a level where even his so-so games are productive. I am interested to see a line of Kane-Scheif-Wheeler playing Maurice's quick and pressuring style.

I thought Trouba was fantastic tonight. Enstrom had an excellent game too, along with Bogo. I think that Bogo is starting to look more effective in the past couple of games.

He only had a .909 sv% tonight and 1 of them was kinda weak.

If Pavs only lets in one weak goal a game or just two goals a game, I'll take that any day.

BTW, I don't agree that it was a weak goal at all. Thought Pavs had to fight for position with two players in his crease, and Giordano just ripped a perfect top corner shot.
