Brown, simply because of his relationship with McDavid. And yes, I do believe Toronto would have to add to make this come to fruition. I just don’t know what that would be . Both players are underwhelming. Although I will say Brown has a role and plays it well. Pulijujarvi can barely stay in the NHL.

I don’t see the oilers GM really caring about Brown in a trade for JP.

It’s probably a negotiation tactic if anything. He’s due for a new contract this year and his production right now is basically the same as some leaf winger named Nylander who the leafs are stupid enough to pay 7mil/year. Hell, he’s probably more important to the Oilers than nylander is to the leafs (although that’s mostly because the oilers have an embarrassing roster outside of 3 or 4 top guys).

Puljujarvi has recently followed the Toronto Maple Leafs Instagram account. After a quick scroll through, he only follows the Oilers, NHL, Liiga, Nike and Bauer accounts. The rest are all personal accounts of other players, family, friends, maybe some fans etc.
