Underrated player and made Panairn better, we never should have let him leave but we had to give Brendan Lemiuex more icetime apparently.

He was a bit overrated around these parts truthfully. Good defensive player but 4th line offensive talent. It got silly when he was getting 2nd line minutes on a regular basis. Still had a solid career.

Great 6th round pick that we got for a complete bust in Bobby Sanguenetti. Hoping it's a similar story with Cuylle and Andersson.

Sucks that his career ended getting hurt in a game that he easily could have been rested in.

He was a solid but not spectacular player. Guy could play anywhere in the lineup and make others better because he was so defensively responsible. Made the little plays that went unnoticed.

2015 playoffs vs Washington, down 3 games to one and Derek Stepan set up McDonagh to win in OT. Play was set up by Fast intercepting a pass and making the play to Stepan.

Game 7 of that series, again in overtime: Stepan wins it on a rebound from a Girardi blast. It was Fast week dug out the face off and got it to Yandle on the boards who passed out Girardi for the aforementioned blast.

A player who so strongly represented the country club atmosphere of this organization that he permitted the entire organization, media, and fanbase to spell his name incorrectly throughout his entire career. Whatever happened to attention to detail?

He won the Rangers Players Player award FIVE(!) times.

Was he a top 6 talent, absolutely not. I'll never begrudge him for playing too high in the lineup, only begrudge the players who couldn't play as reliably/consistently as Jesper.

Who was it that REFUSED to spell his name as Fast and would write Fasth every post. Glad he left the Rangers just for that.

I was at this game. Kreider tied it with 2 mins left with Hank on his way to the bench. Didn’t think I’d ever scream so loudly again in my life until McD scored that OT winner.

Solid player. For an organization that usually f***s up draft picks, he was good and he was drafted in the 6th round.
