Yeah, the Quinn hire made a little bit of sense to me ONLY if it meant we were going to get 2022-23 Erik Karlsson on this team this year. Instead, somehow Karlsson seems to be regressing along with every other defenseman not named Ryan Graves (even that is weird to say, but it is the truth). How much of the Quinn hire was Dubas, though? We were all surprised when Reirden was fired because we all felt Sullivan wanted to keep him. SO, I hypothesize that the only way Dubas was "allowed" to fire Reirden is if he hired Sullivan's buddy from Boston U. Quinn has improved the PP, but his choices for PP1 and PP2 are questionable at best. He is clearly worse than Reirden in terms of working with the defense.
I will stop blaming one individual for this shit show because nobody really knows who is running this ship. All we know is that this team stinks, the off-season was an unmitigated disaster and there is no hope for a turnaround anytime soon.
Are they going to make ANY moves to show that they have a pulse?
