With Stan in, we didn't have a physical guy.

Canes are not a physical team no need for Stanley to be in especially after the last game against the Devils. Stanley made 3 terrible giveaways one costed them a goal and the other two caused chaos in the Jets end.
Jets won big 6-1 so his mistakes were over looked. Today it but them in the azz.
I’m sorry but you have to sit him. I see Arniel did bench him a bit in the game only 9 mins but no way Stanley should dress vs Rangers.

I'd like to note that not only was this the 3rd game in 4 days, it was also an afternoon game after the back to back. Thought it could have gone either way despite that. 2nd line, especially Perfetti, had a great night.

Ill re iterate what I've said before, Miller has looked fine when hes not with Stan. Stan forces Miller out of position so often that he makes Miller look bad night in and night out. Small sample size I know, but when Stan was injured, that bottom pair looked decent.

Sign Ehlers Chevy or we’ll have no second line. He’s averaging over a point per game, a team player, and one of the fastest skaters in the NHL.

PAY him what he’s worth, and that’s $ 9 to 9.5 mil per year, or we’ll lose him for sure. Without Ehlers, our win record would be much lower this year.

It’s critical this signing gets done, even if the Jets have to overpay a bit. He’s our second line.

I was amused by Sawyer slamming Stanley in the 1st after his miscue put us behind, saying things like “the coaching staff will be watching for things like this” and implying Fleury and Schenn are waiting to take over for him.

Has he been healthy scratched once this year? I don’t see it happening. I think the reason we didn’t upgrade on him at the deadline is because Chevy thinks no upgrade is required.

If Stanley is not benched against the Rangers ... Arniel will be slowly losing the room. If Pionk is injuried than I can see Stanley in.
Stanley's ice time was cut down to 9 mins so Arniel did do something.
Schedule probably played a part today too when you are tired you make mental mistakes. Seriously Canes had 3 days off and the Jets play 3 games in 3 nights and 22 hours ... WTF?
If Jets play a 7 game series against the Canes I'm not worried as you can see Anderson lost his horseshoes at the end.
Dallas now has 4 days off until they play the Jets.

I don't think Ehlers gets a contract until he proves himself in the playoffs just like Marner.
I think this is the year for Ehlers to do well in the playoffs and he will sign with the Jets after winning the Cup.

Well Bukala is not lying but check out social media like X ... wow is Stanley getting roasted along with Arniel for putting him in the lineup every night.
I think its a bit over the top because this is actually imo the first game that Stanley actually cost the Jets.
It should be interesting on Tuesday to see if Stanley is in the lineup vs the Rangers.

Thought we started the game well but we were looking for the pretty pass and goal too much when we should have shot the puck, then the refs changed all the momentum of the game. Stanley needs to sit for a couple of games just to see how we play without him in the lineup. I was frustrated with the officiating so i can just imagine how frustrated the Jets would have been but Scheifele is too important of a player to lose for half of the 3rd period when we are trying to mount a comeback, you can't do that Scheifele . Need to get back home and come out flying and shooting the puck on Tuesday.
