Pretty clickbaity title. If you listen to the interview it doesn't sound like there was much more than some discussion floated. Saying it was close to being done is a huge stretch.
Exactly. There was also talk on Draisaitl for Subban before Bergevin traded PK to the Preds. Marek gonna break that one next poscast?Pretty clickbaity title. That one was actually reported on at the time, so was probably a more solid proposal. Even so I don't think that one was close either.Exactly. There was also talk on Draisaitl for Subban before Bergevin traded PK to the Preds. Marek gonna break that one next poscast?
Kucherov legitimately has been Tampa's MVP. Last year he was in on half of the teams goals.
Draisaitl is the better player. No cap. Seething fans are either Liars or not able to properly assess players if they believe anything to the contrary.Kucherov is the better player. No cap. Oiler fans are either liars or not able to properly assess players if they believe anything to the contrary.
Would be similar to the Heatley for Hossa deal imo. Two top ten players switching teams in their primes.
They both were. Hossa was 5th in scoring while being a two way player the previous season. Heatley was still dealing with the aftermath of the accident but his last full season he had 41 goals 89 points, and the season right after the trade had 50 goals 103 points.Neither Hossa or Heatley were top ten players at the time.

Checked thn top 50 list for 2005 which came out right after this trade. Heatley ranked #5, Hossa #14. Imo they were both top 10, hossa under ranked there. Either way I was close enough. No they were not, Not saying they didn't have an argument but it certainly wasn't a consensus.
Holy copeHow the f*** did he choke? He had a broken hand and broken ribs. He shouldn't have been playing in the first place, TBH.
Clearly trolling.
What a tired, tired narrative. Welcome to 2024...almost 2025 now.
Kinda proved his point budDraisaitl is the better player. No cap. Seething fans are either Liars or not able to properly assess players if they believe anything to the contrary.
See how that goes
As soon as I saw the title, I knew there would be some doozies in here. Some of the stupidest, absolutely most Pejorative Slured takes I’ve ever read in this thread.
ownership? What did Katz do. Holland more like it.31 points in last years playoffs alone tells me Edmonton made the correct decision. It hasn't panned out... yet, but that's all on ownership. Y'all know what the team needs, fuggin provide it and stay out of the dumpster.
