Bergeron talked with Oilers too before that. Regarding Subban for Draisaitl.

I though Marek went back to roofing after he got canned for breaking some rules on breaking stories? ha!

Whats he got another podcast now?

Ew actually.

Who's setting up Point? With Drai, Point becomes the 2C. Cirelli the 3C?

I think both teams would be worse off if this trade happened, depending on the spare parts.

This is coming off that collapse against CBJ. Kucherov was just beginning to hit his peak.

Kucherov is the better player. No cap. Oiler fans are either liars or not able to properly assess players if they believe anything to the contrary.

See how that goes 🤣

Kucherov would be nowhere near what he is in Tampa if he played in Edmonton. McDavid doesn't defer to anyone and Kucherov wants to puck. Bad fit. Also Draisait plays a different game than Kucherov. Both teams made out good. With Draisaitl being slightly more productive over the course of 6 seasons and Kucherov winning cups and having the best season outside McDavid in that span.

Worked out for both teams. 2 of the most productive European players this century.

Neither Hossa or Heatley were top ten players at the time.
They both were. Hossa was 5th in scoring while being a two way player the previous season. Heatley was still dealing with the aftermath of the accident but his last full season he had 41 goals 89 points, and the season right after the trade had 50 goals 103 points.

No they were not, Not saying they didn't have an argument but it certainly wasn't a consensus.

Checked thn top 50 list for 2005 which came out right after this trade. Heatley ranked #5, Hossa #14. Imo they were both top 10, hossa under ranked there. Either way I was close enough.

31 points in last years playoffs alone tells me Edmonton made the correct decision. It hasn't panned out... yet, but that's all on ownership. Y'all know what the team needs, fuggin provide it and stay out of the dumpster.

How the f*** did he choke? He had a broken hand and broken ribs. He shouldn't have been playing in the first place, TBH.

Clearly trolling.

What a tired, tired narrative. Welcome to 2024...almost 2025 now.
Holy cope
