Not to sidebar too much, but what this guy is describing isn't weird for the Mormons because this is actually how they get people, young men in particular, to convert because they have declining membership. I know because I had a co-worker who had a similar thing happen to him like what happened to Filipowski. To circle back, it seems now that the LDS is getting more desperate and did something despicable by luring Filipowski into the LDS when he was eighteen.

Kind of sucks though, without a doubt the highest approval rating of all the owners in the region and for every Steve Ballmer you might get yourself a cheap ass
