Thanks, yeah I see it now on his "stories" or whatever they're called on instagram.@HabsChronicle's twitter
Very interesting that he's in Montreal tonight, to say the least.

Oh well ne ways im sure he will sign whenever both sides are ready
Not worried about Struble specially with Harris here
Yea i think so also,i dont watch College hockey but im sure it would helpyeah the only reason I'd want him to sign now is to ensure he signs with us.
But it seems what's best for his development is to go back to Northeastern.
Probably if he's there (or his Girlfriend his)
For why then ? all the management are in Florida and they are not coming back this week
Hard to say what is best but I would lean towards the AHL. The NCAA is great for kids who need time to physically develop as there is considerably more time in the gym and fewer games. The NCAA is unlikely to physically challenge Struble who needs to refine his physical skills as far as how to best use them in the pro game and when to use them. His particular brand of hockey may be ill suited to develop in the college ranks. He is easily strong enough and fast enough to handle the pro game it is just a matter of developing the mental side of the game and to increase his ability to process the game at a higher level. If Hughes/Gorton don't believe that he is ready to try processing the game at the pro level then he should definitely stay in the NCAA. The most important thing is to put him in a position where he can thrive but is also challenged to advance the parts of his game that will define his pro career. Definitely a very tough call that I nor anyone else on this board has enough insight into Jayden's makeup to say definitively what is best for him.yeah the only reason I'd want him to sign now is to ensure he signs with us.

I fully expect to see some of these LD prospects moved either laterally to diversify our prospect pool which is very LD heavy or to acquire assets such as NHL ready players or picks/move up draft positions. I highly doubt all 3 of Guhle, Barron and Harris start the season in Laval. If I had to guess, two of them will make the team either out of camp or early in the seasonAgree with you 100%.
But the other factor is we're already loaded with prospects that need playing time, and lots of playing time in Laval.
Guhle Barron
Harris Xhekaj
Fairbrother Norlinder/Brook
So signing Struble means someone has to play in the ECHL. Is that a good idea? If it's Struble, the question then becomes ECHL or NCAA.
Or Gorton is scoutingI think only Hughes is in Florida.
My guess Gorton and Sedgwick are in Montreal.
Why I think that is from Hughes' presser yesterday. He said he was texting Gorton and Sedgwick to ask what the Habs are doing when it comes to inclusiveness and that stuff.
He wouldn't say he'd be texting them if they were in Florida.
Agree with you 100%.

One or two of those guys are playing NHL. Guhle will be one of them. Then it's hard to say about Harris, Norlinder, and Brook. I think Barron needs a full AHL year next year from what I have seen so far
Could be more than 1 or 2, could be 0.
I don't want to rush Guhle or Harris, or any of them.
If I had to bet, I'd put money on Guhle and one other from that list. Guhle has the type of game like Romanov to be a trusted piece in his own end. I think he's playing NHL at age 20. Who else joins him? It's probably one of Harris, Norlinder, or Brook. Not sure about Brook but he will be 23 next year. Injuries have really derailed his development.
Yeah we'll see. But none are sure bets, including Guhle. Though Guhle didn't look out of place last year in preseason.
Romanov SavardOK, lets say none of them make the Habs roster. How does our D look? Even if we trade Petry and sign Letang, there are several spot open. One or two of those guys will be playing NHL. Guhle and one other person. Bookmark it.
Romanov / Savard
Eddy / ????
Schueneman / ????
Romanov Savard
Edmundson UFA
Shueneman Wideman
Clague, Lagesson
I would have st least NHL 7 dmen at camp, in order to ensure no rookie is rushed before they're ready. But if any rookie is ready, there are plenty of spots to be had.
So you think Wideman, Legesson, Clague are going to block Guhle and someone else? Wideman could be signed but who knows. Clague will be back in the mix yes. Legesson should be in the AHL or let go.
I don't know who HuGo have th their eye on outside the organization.
But I would come in with 7/8 NHL dmen just in case the rookies would benefit developmentally from being in the A. The priority is their development, not icing the best mediocre team possible right now.
I think Guhle has a very good shot with the style of game he plays. D first and physical like Romanov. Then I feel there is room for one more. We will see
Gorton said in the twitch townhall that maybe Guhle will make the big club out of camp.
It sounded to me like the press conference when he was hired and said maybe I'll hire an agent as GM...
I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Gorton has him penciled in.
