Avs have never had an interim coach so yeah unless things go REALLY south they won’t make an in-season change. And really, I’m fine with that. There will be a day when Bednar’s time is up. I don’t think that’s this year.

Which they have NEVER done in-season.

If they do fire Bednar this summer I’ve no idea who they would even pursue. They’re notoriously cheap with coaches so I don’t think they’d get any of the bigger names, so it’d probably be someone we’ve never heard of.

I’m sure someone will get Quenneville but it won’t be the Avs. At least I hope it won’t be.
