you need to start stirring up some conflict between Bednar and GM CMac.I wish Kroenke would have the cojones to do what has been done with the Nuggets.......
Chris MacFarland about Jared Bednar: “100% confident. Jared is our head coach.”
That's not my argument. I do agree that every championship needs a fair amount of bounces to go the teams' way. Some of those are in-game bounces, like a shot going off the post and out of the net versus a shot going off the post and into the net. The problem is I cannot take the luck factor against a effing Dallas Stars team who were MISSING two of their better players. Avs were, for the most part, 99% healthy and looked like they had so much trouble competing against Dallas during those off games. They played so badly at times, they needed a bounce-back win in the next game (which was at home) to show how dominant they were. Game 5 to Game 6 is the perfect example of what I mean. I felt we were always playing from behind, even after winning the first game of the series. Game 3 was what lost us the series. To come home and have Landeskog return, just to lay a stinker for the ages. That's not a luck factor, that is an execution factor. On the subject of luck—no championship at any level in any sport was won without a fair bit of good luck playing a role.
Oh I'm with you on game 3. Of everything that happened, that more than anything upset me the most. That's not my argument. This team most definitely horribly underachieved. They could have, and should have won this series handily.
So is Henchman our new hire as PP Assistant coach?
Saw a dumb Facebook post that the Avs hired Milan Hejduk as the new Assistant coach. That would be such an Avs thing to do. Saw another poster wanting to steal Tanguay. I’m thinking don’t we over pass enough?
Yeah. He did a good job. It was just a joke about Tangs tendencies. Pratt and Tangs were teammates once before.Have you seen what Tanguay did for Detroit’s PP?
He would be an amazing hire.
The previous guy I meant. The goalie whisperer. A real goalie coach not PArkilla who turns goalies into shit. He's been on the job for a year.
Macfarland using Jared as a shield. Truth is Macfarland and Bednar should be fired.Chris MacFarland about Jared Bednar: “100% confident. Jared is our head coach.”
Again, what goalie did he turn into shit? The previous guy I meant. The goalie whisperer. A real goalie coach not PArkilla who turns goalies into shit.
Holy shit!!!!So is Henchman our new hire as PP Assistant coach?

Damnit! When you said you wanted Bednar pushed I told my guy it was like in front of a bus.Whoever is the new assistant needs to be able to push Jared, basically someone that will likely be a high level head coach themselves, but just doesn't have the resume just yet.

The payments been made dude. There's no going back now. You better not be trying to squirm out of a payment here buddy.

This has been posted like 3 or 4 times now.
Just let him be forgotten, please.
Won't make any difference. This core needed a shakeup, a new voice in their ear, IMO.Okay thank god they got rid of Bennett
Just looking for any little positive thing in terms of change as I don't like to be miserable all the time. Thank youWon't make any difference. This core needed a shakeup, a new voice in their ear, IMO.
There’s no point continuing this conversation.
You keep posting 5v5 numbers.
“We” keep posting the fact that DeBoer wins 4 games, Bednar does not. We keep posting that it’s 4 times now with 3 different teams. We keep posting that our star players look like shit against him and he openly says their entire game plan is around 8/29.
There’s no way to make either side budge on this. The series is over. There’s no more games to be played.
You keep believing Bednar didn’t get outcoached. I will keep believing the opposite.
Don’t tag me in this discussion anymore, please. This isn’t going anywhere.
The thing is, posters will still go off on laying it all on the coaching staff and will until they’re replaced. That’s cool of thats what you want to do but if @Foppa2118 or anyone else wants to point out why they believe opposite, why should they stop? Because it doesn’t align with your narrative? So we push just one side? Makes sense. Even though the poster fully acknowledges there’s blame on all sides. No, it’s not time to stop because the “haters” will not stop so why should they?!?You think Cale played this way on his own; we believe the main reason he played like this is Peter DeBoer (because history).
I think it's time to stop now, neither side is going to budge.
