Huh I guess some players do browse hockey forums.

I'd wager most US & Canadian players lurk or have an account - it's the biggest hockey forum out there, and most of these guys probably used it before they made the NHL. It's safe to assume that the players (and media) have a good idea of what gets posted here.

I know some players avoid reading comments about themselves (which is probably smart) but you know some can't help but come back to read.

Just an FYI, I met Voracek in the Philly airport one summer when I was in town.. literally one of the nicest guys I’ve met. Shook my hand, took a picture with me, and was such a nice guy. Takes a lot to piss him off this much

Hey, it's a free world. Fill your boots. However, any pro who even remotely wants to get into social media games and risk becoming some sort of viral meme is not great at doing pro/con lists IMO.
