Don't want to see him in MTL until we clean this mess that is our defense. Goaltenders needs to adapt to the D system in place. Right now, i feel like our system is inexistent because our D is too green.

Was at the game last night ; Dobes was outstanding again. He oozes confidence and looks intimidating in his net. I would be very curious to see how he handles himself in the NHL
Behind a coherent NHL team he wouldn't look out of place right now but that's not the situation in Montreal. I think he gets several games this season though, maybe 5-10.

He's got a wide open shot to take the 1G position before Fowler does.

Monty and Primeau ain't it.
Monty is a band-aid starter for sure. I'm confident he can bounce back and improve if the D can sort it out. I can see Primeau being moved and Monty get moved to a backup role

Good that it's just day to day; he needs a good full season in the AHL. Would be cool to see him get a game later in the year, too before taking Laval deep in the playoffs.

I am a Primeau fan, but what I am seeing from him so far this season is disappointing. At this point he seems like a simple blocker with good size who doesn't move very quickly at all and doesn't anticipate much. I hope he can turn it around consistently, but it's getting late for him to show consistency...

There may be a quick path for Dobes to the NHL here.
