Is there actually a difference? Reassinged, loaned, returned, sent down, they all really mean the same thing, no?
I honestly don't know, I just made my own assumptions based on the description. I have thought loaned means they're not actually sent down, just temporarily available for the BSens, and then they have to return to the big club unless they're officially returned.

Otherwise, why the distinction?

Are all these BSens swaps annoying? Sure. But I'm glad we're finally engaging in our own cap voodoo. Clearly someone has the strategy mapped out.

Probably just the media outlet reporting on it trying to get value out of the thesaurus they expensed...

I was looking at the transactions list on Puckpedia and it's pretty funny,

Highmore was Recalled
Guenette was Elevated
Matinpalo was summoned
Reinhardt was called up
Ostapchuk was promoted

Ha, that's pretty funny. There goes my theory.

Think it was on the post game show, they said he jumped on a bus from NY to go to Philly for tonight’s game.

Perhaps a season altering sequence vs Boston when he blocked 2 open net chances and dove to clear the puck. These are the things that don't show up in the stat line

His play has been much improved since Zub's return,

Sanderson 5v5 GPxGF/60xGA/60xGF%
Before Zub’s Return362.382.5148.62%
Since Zub’s return102.451.5261.65%
I thought he’s also improving, even though his plus minus got 4 worse, and Zub’s got better by 1.

He needs to start turning those xGF into real goals. Our power play has an illness at the moment and I think a big part of that illness is Stützle's desire to always make fancy passes instead of shooting. Sanderson has this same problem. He's basically never a threat for a point shot.

When our power play works it's because everyone on the ice is dangerous, if we don't have that it becomes 4on4 with a reliable board pass.
