I will say that if Beecher can win a FO then it would make the deal better. If he can play 4th line then we can also move Duhaime and/or Maroon in separate deals. While Duhaime/Maroonmight be better now, MN isn’t going anywhere, and the Wild have been terrible at FO’s for quite a while now.

Bonus for BOS in this deal is that they gain some cap space, which might help them in some other deal.

No interest in the Bos deal from this Wild fan, Beecher and a late first is nothing to me for a guy that is, IMO, playoff capable. He is the kind of guy that you immediately need to replace, Guerin would spend more than that return two seasons from now. The Wild need the body there this season, and likely the next, beyond that he would be the kind of third line filler that contenders covet. If you are going to sell, the return will be no worse next years deadline and likely better.

How about an all in one package to the AVS?

I could see Tampa having some interest in Middleton given the Serg situation. '25 2nd+a prospect or perhaps the '26 1st+a mid to late pick/lower prospect. What ate the Wild looking for in terms of positional need?
