I like your line-up except the 2nd line. Habs could not go with that down the road, or home. Habs needs absolutely a good vet 2nd center, by all means. Plz don't give Dach to Demidov as his center. Demidov demands better.I think the biggest weakness in our lineup is the 2nd line. Newhook needs to go down a slot and Dach may never be a 2c. 2nd biggest weakness is Matheson as a 1st pair D amd also RD. I'd solve those two before worrying about bottom six sandpaper.
I already like Heineman and Anderson. Plus Armia has size. Only small player is Gally, who plays hard. Ideally though, when Newhook goes to the bottom six, we move Gally
Caufield - Suzuki - Slaf
Laine - Dach - Newhook/Demidov[25-26]
Heineman - Evan's - Armia
Anderson - Dvo/Beck[25-26] - Gally/Newhook[25-26]
Hutson - Matheson/Reinbacher[25-26?]
Guhle - Carrier
Xhekaj - Savard/Mailloux[25-26?]
Unless they can get better, the biggest weaknesses I see in this lineup are Laine, Dach, and Matheson.
Evans could stay or go, depends on the lenght of the contract and the good price. If he is traded, it's sucks to start again forming a center for pk and defense checking but it's something that could be learned by 80% of good centers with some IQ. It would take one or two years to get the same quality/results of actual Evans with Beck or another. But not mission impossible.
