Jacob Trouba sneaky elbow strikes again. Amazing how the refs only gave a 2 minutes on this one. I have no idea how he wasn't kicked out of the game... I guess Trouba's reputation as a "squeaky clean player" came through for him here. Joke of a call by the refs.

Horrific hit. No justification for it, and if the NHL is serious about protecting players and avoiding concussions, these hits need to be 10+ games.

How on earth does Trouba not know how to hit without sticking out his arm and elbow? This is 101 stuff. Un f***ing believable.

Should have been 4 (Rodriguez looked like he was bleeding in the mouth), but they made the right call for not calling a Major. Those are usually given to high/flying elbows (it was low) or blindside shots (which it wasn't).

That being said, that didn't stop the NHL from handing EK65 a 2 game suspension for an elbow that was a lot less dangerous a couple of years ago. It's pretty clear the DoPS favors certain teams over some others.

Should be a multi-game suspension, especially since it's the second time this playoffs (at least) he's reached out with an elbow trying to hit a player in the head.

I hope nothing but the worst happens to the NHL. Everyone involved in anything touching player safety needs to be fired.

Looked like he went for check annd accidentally elbowed him up high…barely touching his head. Rodrigues magically appears on the ice just moments later…clearly faking while lying on the ice. Rangers short handed goal was karma.
