Prospect Info: Jacob Fowler

I just hope they don't rush him to the NHL. Maybe give him one or two starts in the NHL this year as a ''treat'', but I don't mind if he spends the remainder of his ELC with the Rocket.

Call him up when he's too strong for the AHL, kinda like Calgary did with Wolf.
That’s probably what’s gonna happen. No rush with him.

So with an ATO with Laval how does this work with Montreal? Does he need to sign another ELC with Montreal this offseason?

We cannot afford treats in a playoff race.

His contract starts next season. He is playing on an ATO with Laval and can not play in the NHL this season.

He isn't even on the radar to play in Montreal next season and likely won't threaten to dethrone the starter for at least 2 more seasons and very possibly 4-5 seasons. This is exactly how it works with goalies.
