I think it's safe to say I went in to this vowing to not get done in by my pitching staff like my first two go arounds.

Even using just post ‘46 players there is so much talent out there.

I can’t imagine anyone is going to get to the end of this and not like their team.

There are board problems. I may wait until Monday to update the draft list to avoid making the list worse. Please check recent picks before drafting. I'll copy the list and store it outside HF.

He was too good for me to pass up. I was thinking about grabbing a second starter, but having too many great hitters is a nice problem to have.

The playoffs will be fine, because the play-in game will take the place of a 4th first round matchup.

This is great. It would be even better with more people and more players. After the 2019 SCF, NBA Finals, and Father's Day, on Monday, June 17th 2019 I'm bringing back the 10th edition of the original Baseball ATD with all the players. Hopefully we'll have more GMs. Either way it will be great having all the players with their full careers. All of you will be pmed at least a week, if not a month, in advance. Have a great night.

After the current Round 7, we will be on an 8 hour clock for the rest of the draft. You can forward your pick to another GM such as sarge88 to Fenway.

Sometimes I just randomly open up Bonds' B-R page and just marvel at how comically good his age 36 through 39 season were.

He averaged .346/.559/.809, 52 HR, 110 RBI, 189 BB, 60 K, and an OPS+ of 256 at ages when 99.7% of players are considering hanging them up. Then he went on and had two more years in his 40s with a combined OPS+ of only 162.

I think Frank Robinson is an underrated slugger. He has a 107.3 WAR, hit 586 home runs, 1812 RBIs, slugged .537, has a .926 OPS, and a 154 OPS+. He's in my top 25 players of all time.

I think Adrian Beltre is an all time great player. He has a 94.9 WAR, 468 home runs, 1676 RBIs, slugs .479, has an .819 OPS, and a 116 OPS+. He has 5 Gold Gloves, 2 Platinum Gloves, and a +29.2 career dWAR. He's in my top 40 players of all time.

Beltre is one of those rare players who excels at every aspect of the game. Seldom do you find a player with zero holes in his game. Everyone he has gone he has been an excellent ball player (minus Seattle). I’m glad to have him on my team again.

I know Fenway is too busy or forgot, but in the old ATD one GM was a poor sport and always refused until after the draft was over.
