Engvall has had plenty of chances to play higher up and he never does much.

Engvalls problem is Engvall. He's his own worst enemy. Plenty of skill but does the curl back in the o zone to no where. He just needs to be more confident and drive the net and use the body. He hasn't ever really figured it out.

Kampf should be our 4th line center. Engvall definitely has room for improvement but already produces at an elite level for a 3rd liner despite being held down by Kampf.

They lost a lot of the players from those teams that beat Tampa and Toronto in back to back years.

Panarin, Foligno, PLD, Anderson, Jones, Savard and Atkinson are all gone. It’s probably better for them they didn’t sign some most of those contracts those guys got but it’s still a ton of talent out the door
