Ah man this guy is literally the American PK Subban. Just craves attention so much. Maybe good for the game in America but I can't help but cringe every time I see him on some dumb commercial or talking during the game with the NBC broadcasters. Any chance he gets.
This is certainly a take. Good grief

Fallon asked questions, he answered, he supposed to guide the conversation over the host? Garbage take, this stuff is great for the game.

Not to mention I doubt 100% of the audience that watches Jimmy Fallon know everything about Tkachuk and his family.
It's a good small step towards getting hockey more notice in the US.
Not like it was Travis Kelce on there letting us know he was dating Taylor Swift.

I like MT. He’s a well spoken kid.
Exactly how I feel. I don't like Tkachuk's on-ice shit, but he handles himself very well in front of a mic. You're a very well-paid athlete whose words and actions reflect upon the organization that employs you and the sport you play. Act with class. Don't embarrass hockey. Tkachuk checked those boxes and came off really well here.

Lots of criticism here, but exactly what the NHL should be doing. And Tkachuk did it well.

I will throw in my criticism though. Perfect opportunity for someone to punch that smarmy little Jimmy Fallon in the face and generate some real attention and Tkachuk chose to be respectful.

Can't have it all, I guess.

My biggest complaint is Ewwww Jimmy Fallon
I'm with you. Wrong Jimmy. Jimmy Kimmel would have been awesome, funny, and just as good for NHL. If not better.

Can't stand Tkachuk, but this is good for the sport, the Canada-US game was the best thing that's happened to the NHL in ages.
I'd say the best thing since the Vegas expansion and their rookie year stanley cup run.

4 nations was HUGE for the sport, and the impacts will only grow as long as the NHL leverages the Tkachuks appropriately
