Why can't we beat the Bruins? I thought in the 3 games played, each team beat each other once convincingly; the Bruins won one in a very tight game. Sure, they're the favorites at this point, but they're not the '77 Habs or anything like that.

Just saw someone else mention it but I also watched that Tampa game. I really don't see how the leafs beat Tampa or the Bruins if its the Bruins in the 2nd round.

It's just not the year to go all in with those two power houses. Next year could be completely different if Berg and Krejci retire. Save the assets this year or full on rebuild the bottom 6 for the playoffs at this deadline.

I guess it didn't occur to you that if you're considering the possibility of a Leafs Bruins 2nd round series, then you've already decided that yes, you can absolutely see the Leafs beating TB in the 1st round. Oopsie.

I say we can absolutely beat them. They'd be the favorites if the series started today but that doesn't mean we couldn't win. And while I have a ton of respect for the way they've played this year, I say they come back down to earth at some point. That goes for Ullmark, and that goes for the entire team.
