The problem I have with
At this point I think he’s just passive aggressively pushing the Avs to trade for a real goalie.

Ritchie had probably the biggest chance of the night that didn't actually go in.Huh?
When? I genuinely don't remember.Ritchie had probably the biggest chance of the night that didn't actually go in.
Some time in the 2nd period, I think. Had a shot from the slot that just went under the goalies arm and out to the side. When? I genuinely don't remember.
Being invisible as a rookie isn't entirely the worst thing on earth. I actually think all three rookies have been fine for the most part, but Ritchie is definitely a step below because of how horrible his defensive game is. He is a team worse -4 and that doesn't come across as pure coincidence IMHO.I thought Ritchie was invisible last night outside of his reverse hit.
At least against Vegas he had 2-3 great chances to score. Last night he was a ghost.
Then you should talk to management. Coach has to go with the goalies given to him. Whether we want to admit it or not, Georgiev is the most talented goalie on the Avalanche roster. There’s nothing to be gained by the coach publicly roasting him. I’m even surprised Bednar said “not good enough” about him and Annunen for the season opener. The f*** you can't. This shit has been happening since last season. And Annunen has come in cold both games. I'm sick and tired of George. Anything would be better at this point.

He was actually worse in game one though, hardly seems possible but he was. Made ONE meaningful save in that stretch vs. the Golden Snitches. There is no reason Justus hasn't taken the starting role. He was better the second half of last season and clearly the team is calmer in net around him. Maybe he isn't as talented, but at this point the Avs need to take a page from the Oilers and jettison Georgie to the minors.
Sort of...Bednar understands the cap situation so right now, he's trying to truly break Georsieve, make him quit so the Avs have the cap space to then actually acquire a goalie. The problem I have with

Our forward group will be fine if we get Lehky, Val, Landy and Drouin back. I just don’t get how people are surprised we are losing games with that many key players out. We are missing four top 6 forwards for god’s sake. Just go over the names we are missing in your head and you’ll realize why we are losing.I'll be honest, I've watched us very little since we won the cup since I didn't have the motivation to tbh.
But our forward group is a shadow of what we used to have despite MacKinnon possibly getting even better which is a shame because it does affect the goaltending. But the goaltending is still absolute shit
