Quinn and a small add for Zegras would be a good trade for the Sabres if that is the route they choose. Both struggling this season with similar stats, relatively same age and draft status. Zegras could potentially fill the 2C, possibly moving Cozens to wing.
I would think about it (but it's me).

I would not trade Quinn at all. What he's flashed in the past shows his talent.

Something isn't right at this point, but it's not like he's suddenly lost his skill or forgotten how to play the game.

He hasn't even finished his ELC. Why we always want to run out young highly skilled players when they start to slump a bit?

He'll rebound.

17 games and people want him thrown out of town.

Not against trading him but trading a guy with this much talent when his value is super low just seems unwise.

Because that's one of the options, and you have to consider all the options, and not hold on to every young player and give him a chance while the team is losing. If this was the beginning of the rebuilding and development seasons, I would understand it and it would be logical, but now is a different time.

Not all young players succeed, it's just impossible. Put Quinn in the press box, in the LTIR, in the weight room, somewhere else, but he shouldn't just go out and play in this condition. We also have Cozens almost the same, but it seems to him that he just lacks brains.

Because people have run out of patience and I understand them, but it’s fair. Nobody is telling the truth about why Jack Quinn looks like shit and has one goal in 17 games and his shot looks like Anders Bjork's.

Doesn't matter people have run out of patience. This teams problems are much larger than Jack Quinn.

Oh, I know, but you (not specifically you) can't just do nothing and turn a blind eye to Quinn's play. He's part of the problem as long as he plays like this, and our second line sucks.

I would move him with Tage when he comes back. Put him on a line that can create some space for Quinn to get open and fire some shots. He just needs a couple goals and I think he will get himself going again.

Did he got Buffolitis?

Not even sure what that means.

He's played 121 NHL games. He's basically at the mid-point of his second full season and he's slumping. It may be more actual sophomore slump than last year's injury-filled one. He's been around a lot longer but in terms of experience, he's still not a vet. He needs a night off IMO but with Greenway and now Tuch added to the walking wounded, I don't think that's going to happen.

That might work unless it's an injury problem that's messing with him. He could be working through and injury people don't know about.

It looked like it was an injury or his legs were just really weak right now. He was falling, tripping. Maybe he needs to do more leg work in the gym, Idk.

Also was not expecting Zucker-Kulich-Quinn to be strong, but it was nice to see a line with Quinn on it doing work. Next up, actually scoring with a goalie in the net.

Will Ruff keep this line when Tage returns?

It's possible. I'm sure he wants to play after being hurt for the last two years. Maybe he shouldn't of come back yet or went to Rochester for conditioning. I think at some point he'll be back to what he was, but when will that be?
