I think a Hughes-Stutzle poll would more interesting; closer age, same position, great already and still with huge potential upside due to where they are at, at their respective ages.

Two of my favorite players. I went Hughes. Not becasue I am a Devil fan but
Hughes pretty easily. More productive player playing the more important position. If he hadn't gotten hurt he probably hits 50+ goals 110+ points.

And even with that injury, he ended up with:
- More goals (by 13)
- More primary points (by 8)
- More ES points (by 10)
- Higher pts/gp
Two of my favorite players. I went Hughes. Not becasue I am a Devil fan but these stats don't lie. Now. MArner is a more complete player, but Jack is slowly getting there. Marner clearly has more experience. AS for your 110 points, you have a good argument. He din't really do much his first 6-7 games after coming back.
The argument would be that if he didn't have Haula on his line for the vast majoity of the season he wouldn't ended up with 110-115 points. Sharangovich would've finished off so many of those goals. Haula could't buy a goal and I;m willing to bet Hughes woudl've had at least 10 more primary assists with someone else like Tatar, Sharangovich, Mercer or even Holtz. I wanted about 3-4 other devils on that line before Haula.
