Those were all the result of turnovers that led to high danger chances in the slot. Not his fault.
1 of those 4 goals Armia's 2nd he played it very very badly .. yes it was a puck battle in front of net but he lost his balance and fell da wrong way on his back .. i never played goal but I have heard it many times over da years you never ever ever turn your head from puck ever .. da other 3 goals he had very little chance unless he makes a 10 beller

Thank you Jack for finally giving us elite level goaltending in the season AND in the playoffs. Without you this team doesn't make the post season and/or loses four straight in the playoffs.

Not a fan long term.

Series could have been over in game 6 if he even showed 5% effort getting back up on the first goal. Not even Andersen does stuff like that.

I like him as a 1b. I personally think he'd be Swiss Cheese out of the North division. Not in the mood to war over this. I'm not budging on this opinion and neither are you guys.

I respect the opinion of those who disagree with me and hope you are right.

If it wasn’t for Campbell to two overtime losses they would’ve never even had a chance to win down 5 or 6 How is it his fault

Who cares about stats? Those are the same Freddie put up last year and was roasted.

Jack Campbell was not that clutch for us in 2 of the 3 series clinching games (5 and 7). That first goal tonight was horrendous and was deflating af. The game's not his fault by any stretch but that one hurts big time in a series this tight and where first goals are critical.

He gave us a chance to win which is all you can expect out of a goalie who came out of nowhere. The fact that the Leafs didn't run with the opportunity and put him in a goalie duel with Carey Price isn't his fault. He's a good platoon option.

Like I said. Softie monster strikes again.

Let's hope that playing this clown cost Keefe and Dubas their jobs.

Jack Campbell sucks!

No different than any other playoff season. The other team had the better goalie. There were 3 or 4 saves we needed in this series that we never got.

Props to Jack for a great season, and maybe he grows from this. No doubt he'll be our starter next season.

He was about what I expected. Good save%, not a problem for the most part, but wasn't going to be the better or the two goalies in the series.

Probably not a guy you count on going into next year.

Well if he performed about the same as Andersen last year, at least he did it for only 1/3 of the price (and ~90% of the Carey Price).

Isn't saying the above ONCE, irritating enough? Repeating the untruth should have subsequent posts removed.

He is a decent goalie for yall but a career backup/minor leaguer is not what yall need in net for a deep run. Looked nervous all game 7 long and in his post game interview you could hear so much disappointment in his voice. I think if he was growing with the team these past few years it would've been fine... you know, get those heartbreaks/jitters out of the way earlier. At age 29 is he really the goalie of the future or just a stop gate to getting someone even younger?

Leads didn't need the better goalie overall . This thing should have been done in game 5. You dress a career backup in the playoffs you have to take on the risk. North Division is not indicative of the play Campbell will see in normal circumstances.

Hindsight is cheating so it's not fair to play the what if game...but a part of me will feel depressed knowing some of those goals Campbell let in, Fred wouldn't have. When Fred self destructs, at least the other team is either matching our offensive pressure or better than us in all the fancy offensive stats. He never has issues with teams like the Habs especially the way we were playing until dying in game 6.

I can't think of many saves Campbell made that made my jaw drop. Most were saves a goalie should make. Habs don't have snipers and a lot of the shots were weak .

Fred getting injured and not being ready for playoffs was a huge blow to the season.

I have a lot of faith in Campbell. His stretch of play this year surpassed anything we've got from Andersen in 5 years AINEC.
