I’m the asshole that was against trading for him. I thought he’d cost a bit more though.
Drurys weird. He either kills it on trades, or gets completely bent over. There’s no middle ground with pizza bitch.
JTM has been better than expected. Put the C on his chest as soon as possible.
Miller is a good player and I wish this team had him last year.
Only question is how much longer he can play at this level.

I wish this team got him at the 2022 trade deadline as a "rental" for two playoff runs.
Messier trade part deux
I think he is the next captain. We have most of our top prospects who emulate his style of play. I dont think he will be contested as a true leader. I love his game, the trade, and everything he brings to the table. Might be our most complete top tier forward since Messier.
He's really gotten bent over on one trade. There is no logical world where he got bent over on Kakko unless you're still obsessed with his obsolete draft position. He did get bent over in contract negotiations with Shesterkin's agent.

Miller has had such a resounding impact. Just makes it more frustrating that he was traded away in the first place.
Now we just need Laf to start emulating JT instead of Panarin.

Respect to Zibanejad for responding to playing with Miller the way he has. He looks so rejuvenated.
Would love for some of his ~dog~ to rub off on Laf, who has embodied the laziness, complacency and negligence of detail of our vets this year, but without a fraction of the body of work to back it up.

I love his leading by example that he has brought to a dead team. The dude really is the total package as a hockey player and now wants to carry us to the playoffs. This dude is a beast.
JT has Messier presence with his teammates. A similar persona to the extent that it's a double-edged sword and being fragile mentally around him is going to get you hurt. He probably wouldn't be able to get away with this if he was younger and didn't walk the walk. But he can play. If he stays motivated and if you've got guys who don't shrink when they're next to him, everybody is going to be better off for it.
