Very bad idea, as others have pointed out. You can’t have two d-men that size in your top 6 and expect to contend for a Cup. Just enjoy Lane.

Really? You wouldn't want Hutson on the ice for 50 minutes a night instead of 25? I would.

Also, if it doesn't work out, if he ends up being close to Lane, I suspect his trade value would be far superior to a 2nd.

I had heard that. But a recent interview with the Dad on Mccagg's sick podcast show seemed to indicate otherwise. But Hugjes did say they didn't look at him.
