And that includes a full season where his shooting percentage was way off due to injury. When healthy those numbers are even better.

Michkov could well be better. None of us can know. But it’s not a given that he will be.

Under MSL, excluding last season where his shot was off, he has 74 goals in 137 games, good for 44 over a season.

I watched the game yesterday against WSH, he got 2 goals but cheated so much defensively, you don't see him for 2 periods and then BAM 2 goals. When he has the opportunity the puck is in the net but he is very far from being reliable and team player. Also tried the michigan again, Torts must be furious about that

Scoring at 50 goal pace for 20 games sequence is not scoring 50 goals. It's 30 goals per season because when he's not hot, he's a 2nd liner.

Zero evidence outside of the inconvenient U18 MVP tournament where Michkov was the best player in the world, period.

Caufield never ever, showed tier-1 performance in best on best. Even with tier 1 Hughes playing with him.

Caufield at 24, in his f-ing prime, can't make the US team...think about that for a second.

I didn't guarantee anything. All I said is that Michkov's potential is much, much, higher than Caufield and their rookie seasons are already quite telling.

Michkov 20 years old, 0.66 pts per game.
Caufield 21 years old 0.64 pts per game.

So 1 year younger, Michkov is already trending to outperform Caufield in his rookie that happened when he was older.

Stop with the (mod) and false statements, there is gap of potential between these two, there always was one.

U18 tournament play means nothing at the NHL level. There are players who killed it at international tournaments that flame out in the NHL all the time. Until he actually out-performs Caufield at the NHL level, this is all just a projection.

The only stupidity here is your infatuation with defending Michkov from attacks that are only in your imagination. I outright stated that Michkov could go on to have a better career, so I don't know why you're freaking out. I will point out that at no point has Caufield EVER been as pathetic defensively as MM was on the Caps winning goal last night.

Either way, Demidov projects to be better than both.

Goals are more valuable than assists are. Michkov is not trending to being the better player.

He may in fact wind up being the better player but it’s far from the given you’re trying to say it is.
