Caufield scored 48 in his first 82 under MSL. This is including part of his rookie year. That's not pace, that's actual production.
And we're comparing young players with a short period of history. Of course we're going to discuss pace. How the hell would we compare them? Moreover, we're going to talk more about pace when a young player has injury issues. When healthy under MSL Caufield produces at a pace of 40+ goals per 82.
The poster said Michkov is going to be better. Okay, Is Michkov going to do that? It's a tall order and I wouldn't go off saying that this is a sure thing. Caufield (including all games) averages around 35/82. Even that's a tall order for a young player to hit.
