Ok so what’s the problem right now then lmao
I guess the problem is that you don't know what you're talking about.
All you talk about is pace pace pace, sound like a 2021 Leafs fan
Caufield scored 48 in his first 82 under MSL. This is including part of his rookie year. That's not pace, that's actual production.

And we're comparing young players with a short period of history. Of course we're going to discuss pace. How the hell else would we compare them? Moreover, we're going to talk more about pace when a young player has injury issues. When healthy under MSL Caufield produces at a pace of 40+ goals per 82. Those numbers have dipped on two occassions. 1. He did not produce under DD. 2. He did not produce well after his injury for a year. Other than that, he puts up 40+ per 82.

The poster said Michkov is going to be better. Okay, Is Michkov going to do that? It's a tall order and I wouldn't go off saying that this is a sure thing. Caufield (including all games) averages around 35/82. Even that's a tall order for a young player to hit.

And Michkov in his D2 is pacing to score just under D2 Slafkovsky.
I’m not talking about Michkov just Caufield

Caufields best production was actually 28 in a season and he was healthy, combining multiple seasons and talking pace is mental gymnastics

I don’t even care about Michkov I just don’t get trying to inflate Caufields stats lol

I watched over a dozen games of Michkov this year, I think he will be a threat offensively on the PP but I am not sure he will be more than a 40/40 guy or 80-85 pts that will finish in the minus. I don't get the major hype on him honestly

Don't give me this nonsense. You have to go way out of your way to ignore the circumstances here.

Again, when healthy under MSL the guy averages over 40 goals per 82 games.

We're not inflating anything. His numbers don't need inflation. Even if we include his lost half season under DD and his injury riddled season he still averages 35 goals per 82. That's BEST IN LEAGUE for any player in his age group.

He has played one 82 game season and scored 28 goals. Under MSL also. You’re discussing his pace over smaller stretches of games, which clearly don’t hold up over an actual 82 game season as he scored 28 in 82.

He has played one 82 game season
Exactly. And that's the only reason he doesn't already have a 40+ goal season. You're being silly here.

If you're going to compare two young players then you look at pace. How the hell else would you do it? It's not like we're comparing Yzerman to Sakic's careers here.
