Well now comes the challenge of getting himself out of a slump. I'd rather he learn how to do that at the KHL level than in Montreal when you are claimed to be a bust the second you don't produce in a game as a rookie.

Haha know you are joking but hes gonna get waived next camp, bet on it.
Yeah. He is gone this summer. No need to waive him. With Demidov coming in, Dach coming back from injury. Roy and Beck pushing for a NHL spot. His hockey career is kinda over with us and maybe in NHL.

Nobody is talking about it but do you guys think Hugo will try to find a Russian UFA to sign here and mentor Demidov and help him to transition to the NHL? If he is the next Habs superstar, it's something I would consider

Bedard was never deemed as "Generational" to the vast majority of general managers and their scouts. He was always viewed a notch below the McDavid's and Crosby's. Franchise player, yes.....generational, no.

He was hyped pretty hard. I equate his hype to Joe Thornton level.

Mcdavid and Crosby hype was in another tier. That was like Mario, and lindros level.

It's been discussed...

In theory, it could be a good idea.

In reality.... it would take far more than shared nationality/language for there to be a positive impact
