What a clown.

Get your popcorn ready. From what I can tell since this tweet:

1) Stroman tried to claim the like was fake and a photoshop job.

2) Carig countered by stating that he knows it's not because after it was pointed out he found the tweet and took a screencap of the like himself

3) Stroman then appears to have deleted the tweet accusing it of being a forgery

4) And Carig has put up a screenshot of that, sarcastically asking Stroman if he intends on claiming fakery for that one too.

As much as I teased about his whole "nobody believes in me" thing he did with the Jays, I always wanted to like him. But he's continually made it really hard to cheer for him and his stuff the last few days makes it harder.

I believe that is the last of the 2015 moves to stay on their team.

If he is healthy, Boyd as the number 5 wouldn’t be bad.

I'm actually really interested to see what he signs for this offseason. Like there's always going to be a few teams who miss out on the guys they want. But Stro is such an awful personality to have and is making it very obvious these past couple weeks will there be anyone left for him to try to bid against the Mets or will he just end up taking whatever the Mets offer once they miss out on everyone else. Essentially the team nobody wants to sign with signing the player nobody wants because they're the only 2 left.

Stro is such a damn clown.

I got no problem with a guy having an ego (like it's professional sports, i'd rather have my guy think he's the best player on earth than just another guy) and there's evidence to show Stro can be good for the locker room when he's pitching with confidence because his fire and personality can be infectious and a good morale jolt

The problem is we've seen more of the Stroman who's bitching, moaning and might be the incarnation of little man syndrome instead of the guy popping off the mound after a big K.

I can’t believe none of those precious prospects everyone was talking about in the 2015 deadline ever panned out to much

Unless there are medicals we don’t know about, the non tendering of Boyd makes no sense. If you exclude 2020, he gave the Tigers 7 WAR over 4 seasons or 570 innings. That’s 2.5 WAR over 200 innings or what Matz gave us. That’s easily worth the $7M he was hoping to make.

I’d gladly take a flyer to have him work with Walker. That’s better than Matz’s last few years.

Not posting it because I doubt his stuff is 100% legit but 2 hours ago he says Max to the Dodgers is done.

I wouldn't be shocked, people seem to be avoiding the Mets like they are carrying the plague right now

Honestly who would you rather play for, the Jays with a proven record of getting the best out of there pitchers and world class facilities or the Mets?

It isn't much of a choice

Robbie Ray started following Gausman.

Also Kevin Gausman is first Colorado born starter to play for the Jays since, Roy Halladay.

What did I say? Semien would ask for a Springer-like contract. What did he get? A Springer-like contract.

Another feather in the cap.

lol, you are really something. and not in a good way.
you asked me for an apology for being "patronizing" then your next post is this gem.
does TGB stand for the The Greatest Braggart?

Was fairly obvious from end-of-season comments that neither Ray nor Semien had much interest in returning.

Gausman is a nice lateral move from Ray to keep the momentum going instead of taking a step back. Now they need to do the same with an infield bat to replace Semien.

It was obvious Semien wasn't returning, not Ray. There's still a chance Ray returns. And if he does then my god is that rotation ridiculously good.

Gausman is a terrific signing. Pitchers don’t fall off a cliff at 32-33 like in some other sports. Some even get better in their 30’s and the numbers look to check out.

We should still have money for a few more pitchers for the pen and maybe a starter and a 3B. Ramirez/Chapman makes even more sense now with no Semien and Biggio sliding to 2B. Loved Semien but the ask was to much when we have so much middle infield options. Need 3B and pitching.
