I pretty much thought this series was over. They looked gassed and lifeless. Kreider and the whole team rallying around St. Louis has given this team the spark it needed. The team is coming together when it means the most and the Pens are crumbling under their frustration as they usually do. Hank will have to play even better on Tuesday.

Even if they don't win game 7. They forced a game 7, being down 3-1 with no confidence, against a top 5 team in the league.

I'm damn proud of these ****heads.

Especially the line of misfit toys. What a series they've had.

Its the first team to win 4 not 2 when so many threw in the towel after game 3...It doesn't matter how bad you look until the other team wins 4 you are in it...Please take note for next series

I was actually somewhat happy with Nash tonight. He pressed reset. Start with solid defense and the offense will come.

Despite Nash's poor offensive efforts, he's actually been a solid defensive contributor. He seems like he might have it in him to be a decent 2 way guy.

Problem is, you have to consider salary cap in everything. And at a $7.8mm hit, a solid 2 way guy will never be good enough.

I've been hard on Hank but I'm happy to eat crow because his career numbers in elimination tilts are nothing short of generational.

Whether we win of lose game 7, I'm incredibly happy that this team didn't go down without a fight. They could've easily folded and crumbled in 5. When backed up against the wall, they battled back and forced game 7. Right now I'm proud to be a ranger fan, win or lose.

Are you sure that's accurate?

We have lost seven playoff series since Hank joined the team. So there should be at least seven losses, there. If he only had two losses facing elimination, we'd of won a couple of Cups by now. ;)

That's what they said on NBC. I'm just going off that based on the post game.

You have a point though. Maybe its a 9-2 sample?

They definitely said that on the NBC Sports Network Broadcast when Milbury and co. were talking.

It was a sample of the last eleven. I initially took it out of context. My apologies. Still, that is an impressive record for Henrik and the Rangers when facing elimination over that sample. Shows they are a very hard team to put away.

John Giannone is a ****ing piece of ****. He needs to give MSL some space. Stop asking him 20 million questions about his mom the last two post-games. Seriously, I understand it's his job, but at some point, enough already. I feel bad for MSL.

word.

What a win. Guess it's tuesday then :)

Agreed. This has me looking forward to the AV tenure. I don't care what Canucks fans say, this guy got the team to dig deep when they were all but dead.

IMO: Lundy looked like an elite goalie for the first time this playoffs.

Instead of reading about how the D was horrific and how Lundy had no chance to stop the puck, I saw Lundy make the high quality saves an elite goalie needs to make. IMO, Lundy was the best player on the ice. This is how the rangers need to play if they wish to advance.

This. If we move on, great. If not, huge guts shown, we keep our first round pick and buy out Richards.

Wow that was satisfying. It's crazy how much of a gutless puke Crosby is.

I remember the series when the guy at MSG showed up wearing scuba gear because Sid was such a diver. Who is going to figure out a costume for 'ebenezer the ball squeezer?' What an amazing legacy that dope is going to leave in the nhl.

Lundqvist's best game was probably Game 2. He just got some support tonight.
