Yeah, see, this is a prime example of the amateur hour level shit that these guys do and get the privilege to actually have access to write for the team.

I actually like what I’ve seen Amoia put out there and I think he’s actually a fan, but you can’t put shit like this out there and then be taken aback when a player calls you out on it.

lol what

if Haula played for any other media market, he would be ROASTED for this.

these guys get softball questions from "Steiner" and some 21 year olds and cant handle the heat? Bush league. He HAS been shit for months. Sorry if the truth hurts, Erik.

Why are people sticking up for this piece or garbage useless player that has contributed absolutely nothing and is the one of the major reasons this team has fell off a cliff, am I insane?

The interview is whatever, the only reason they talked to him is he actually scored LMAO. He had to know it was eventually coming with his big game 4 f***ing months later lol and handled it like a Pejorative Slur.
To be fair the media is a convenient target, and a lot of times they even bring it on themselves. But even if this dude was snarky and got personal, at best it’s a case of right message, wrong messenger. Or like someone else said, tone deaf

i don't give a shit what media market haula is in, i support him over some clickbait generator. and also haula's played in 7 different places so i think he has some idea of what the media's like elsewhere.

This is fair too, NJ media is ridiculously soft compared to other places Haula has played (though there’s a lot of small markets in there), if someone took a shot at him on Twitter big whoop - get off social media when you’re sucking. It’s like when Lindy got all hypersensitive about being asked how much Bratt played on Opening Night, like dude just be glad you’ve been in soft markets most of your career

In the 3 seasons Haula has been here, I have seen him sensitive to press who say negative things, or imply he was bad. It is what it is, I've seen him do that to either Trey or Novo last season or season before.

Just a weakness. Hope he got out of his hole and will produce till the end here, he is a large reason why the team is missing depth scoring since January (actually December). him and Mercer were massively under performing.

Looks like Mercer on a little rise and maybe Haula is out of it now.

Minnesota, Vegas, Carolina and Florida aren’t exactly Canadian/O6 hockey markets either. He was in Boston one year. He probably complained about the media everywhere else too

Those comments clearly bothered him for a long time and he had to wait all this time till he finally scored a goal to say something to him. It's a pathetic look.

Here, here.

I’m a loyalist to the players. It’s who I root for. I’m not defending Haula’s play at all. He’s been awful since November, plain and simple. But I could absolutely understand why he would be annoyed by someone aiming to please the Twitter miscreants by taking a shot at the amount of time it’s been since he scored a goal. And I think it’s fair for him to take a jab back when he finally does.

I don’t remember what he did when it happened, but I only hope Gomer did something similar in Montreal, the poor bastard.

If I'm that reporter and Haula doesn't score next game, I'm going right back to him with "So Erik, are you starting another streak now?"

But that's just me

On top of being a terrible hockey player, he's a little bitch too. F-off. Maybe if you did anything in the years you've been here, this wouldn't be a problem.

It's the media's fault you suck? Truth hurts.

Honestly hate him more every day.

Wait did Glass score?
"IMMA GLASS MAN" is gonna be my go to phrase when he scores or does something outstanding.

Much needed W, Philly or not. LOL at Haula.

I’m not defending his play. But I’m defending the player. Yes, he’s been very bad since November but I’m still supporting the player since he’s wearing our colors. It’s not a question of effort or heart with him. It’s a question of if his ability is deteriorating fast enough that he might not be a viable option next year.

Would much rather root for him to have an unlikely turnaround and help us in the final stretch.

To this topic though, it’s not the question that was problematic, but the goofy Twitter stuff. I assume that’s what Haula was referring to. I also think this isn’t as big of a deal as people are portraying it to be.

So what do we chalk today up to? A crappy flyers team? Or did the new guys actually provide a spark? Or was that spark due to the flyers
