I'd be very surprised if Markstrom does not get the start.

I missed the past few games before this so I don't know how well Nemec has been playing lately but I thought Cholowski was bad. The fact that we ran 4 lefties today including a barely NHL player in Cholowski is a terrible sign for Nemec.

Go find video of the 3rd period against Winnipeg...

I guarantee you that you have never seen a worse performance from an individual defender than goals 4, 5 and 6 where Nemec was was abused on each goal....

But be warned if you watch those goals you'll never look at that player the same again.

I'm not a huge Casey guy, especially this early in his career and this late in the season, but given he's a righty, and we have a PP spot open, and we have plenty of PK'rs I'd much rather him in then the Cholowski I watched today.

As mentioned previously, Noesen has 1 ES point since Christmas or something. And he can only play 14min a game or so. Those 2 things alone should DQ him from the top line on a top heavy team. Bratt should be with Nico. Meier should be on the right of Mercer if ya want balance....not the garbage Keefe came up with.

Standing by this. The top 6 today isn't gonna work. At an absolute minimum, Nico needs to be paired with forwards that can eat minutes. Noesen physically can't do that. Nevermind the shit ES production forever.

Yeah we 100% need a top 6 winger in the offseason, or two. The Palats and Noesens and Tatars aren’t doing much. And it’s looking like Mercer is a 3rd liner.

This was a huge win for the team. They were a little scrambilly at the end of the periods, really like to see them correct that. Game on Tuesday is basically a playoff game, another must win.

Wasn’t an AWFUL gm. They didn’t deserve the win but it was more of a 3-1 loss. Def wasn’t a 6-1 kind of gm
