I think we broke him.

He's giving us credit now.
He has been on the other side many times. It's as if fate is the unstoppable force he can't control. He seems more overtly resigned to this fact.

if Leafs beat this team their confidence will be sky high for sure.

So time to test everyone's math skills. Can you tell me what the Leafs record is in the playoffs this season since Bunting was suspended?

I don't think you can give Bunting a chance this series. If Keefe does, you slot him on the fourth line and keep his minutes low. He needs earn his way back not be gifted... what the fourth chance this season? There's just way too much at stake for him to do something dumb,

Bunting is staying in. There is no way he is coming back in Game 5, arguably the most important game for the Leafs.
Disagree, you are going to need him more than Lafferty. Bolts going to be playing as desperate hockey as you will see.

Knies Matthews Nylander
Jarnkrok O'Reilly Marner
Bunting Tavares Acciari
ZAR Kampf Kerfoot.

They can get the puck out of our zone... Brodie has struggled thar is why we saw McCabe and Rielly a lot and Rielly played a lot against Tampa best line.
on second thought yea, it does hurt us that only Rielly can move the puck effectively and consistently

I don’t know if Liljegren is an answer though so we may have to use Rielly in a more 2-way role

This is the proper team that Dubas finally was able to build. He went for it and the last two games showed what playoff type teams can do. They find a way, it's that simple. All of his deadlne acquisitions playing a key role tonight.

Regardless, Leafs havent won a thing yet. Four wins is a series...I am glad they had it in them to try and break through their DNA limitations...one more to go...
Doubt the Bruins gift us goals like Vassy has. Here's hoping Bergeron and Krejci are not 100%.

what happened?

Got a clip? I didn't see it.
He gave a pretty cocky answer saying he wasn't surprised it was 4-1 with how good the lightning are. I don't have the clip. Wasn't super egregious but after seeing him run his mouth all series it was pretty funny seeing him on the bench pan shot after Kerfoot's winner.

After the shock wearing off, I still am not the happiest with the win. The Leafs can't have these large gaps of utterly terrible hockey. It's one thing to lose but losing that terribly is no bueno.

Finding ways to win these kind of games is fantastic though. It creates a lot of confidence and momentum. I just really f***ing hope we don't get these terrible efforts for over half a game for awhile. The Leafs probably could use a defensive shake up because Holl and Giordano are struggling hard. Giordano almost gave up a goal with a turnover with 1 minute left in the 3rd, but the puck just went wide.

I'm very happy that Matthews came up big when needed. Samsonov was big when needed.

Tampa fans are talking about trading Vasi in their GDT lol

I don't blame them. He's been the worst player in the series BY FAR. In every single game. Dude is straight trash.

I still think it's largely due to losing McDonagh and now Cernak for this series, while relying on Sergachev to defend at a competent level. But no doubt Vasi has been complete shit this series.

Honestly how perfect that it was Kerfoot with the winner. That’s freaking amazing. Talk about rollercoaster of emotions. I went from high blood pressure raging to high blood pressure ecstatic joy. Still don’t believe it.
