Idk why he won’t shoot again tonight he passes up prime shooting opportunities for a pass that doesn’t need to be made. Idk how many shot attempts he had but he needs to be shooting a high volume of shots with his release.

There must be some element of this that they are being coached to do. All too often Svech (and Aho) make that "one pass too many" to a player who is either well-covered or the pass is into the intended recipient's skates etc...

Honestly, look I know where this team is in the standings and I know where we have been this year.

But if this team doesn't pull their heads out of their asses they are going to collapse their way out of the playoff race. They look seriously BAD the last couple weeks, the worst we've seen them look as a team since Brindy took over as head coach and it's been consistent enough to be worrisome that the bottom falling out might be closer than we think.

I also know that with guys like Nikishin coming in soon that this year might not be something that we truly really are going for it during, but I am worried the forward lines look like complete shit.

Then they should be doing a mini sell off at the deadline trade any pending UFA’s. Eat half of Orlov’s deal and you could get a haul
for him. Cash in on Roslovic and Robinson’s good starts.

I thought I saw someone mention it here but Svech has gotta be nursing a hand or wrist injury, no? The amount of flubbed shots and passed up shot opportunities…something has gotta be amiss

Idk what it is but Svech should have 8-10 shot attempts a game imo he should be constantly putting up 5 plus shots on net a game with the way he can shoot it. Too many times I’ve watched him pass up prime shooting opportunities to make a silly pass even on 2 on 1’s he’s gotta be more selfish imo

He’s newly married now though which would no doubt lead to a distance from the TT-Raanta group anyway.
