When Martinook is in the box, Svech won't be on the ice since he doesn't PK. Martinook then got an extra shift when he came out of the box, which isn't unexpected.

Martinook was 9th among forwards for TOI and the Canes were pretty balanced in the first period across all 3 lines, as other than Jarvis (who also doesn't PK), every top 9 forward had 7-8 shifts the first period. Nothing wrong with that.

If their TOI is close after 3 periods and it's not driven by PK time, then you have a point.
