Guys, we have to logically look at this loss. I know it stings right now losing to the Islanders. However, it’s what’s best for business. Hear me out. A regulation loss is better than an OT loss. Every point matters when you’re trying to position yourself in the lottery. Also, this win for the Islanders just positions them into the middle of the pack. They’re either going to just make or miss the playoffs and be mediocre. It’s win win tonight guys.

Too easy of a pass for Clutterbuck on Staal, Pionk caught spinning. Not a synergistic pairing for a pair that's stayed together for top minutes. Then again, Shattenkirk-Staal is horse trash. Staal-anyone is horse shit.

Staal-Pionk have been such a bad pair, why does this staff cling to them like they're some shutdown top pair? I get that there's not much talent back there but the defense has been really bad overall, why not try and shake things up? At this point the only good pair we have is Claesson-Shattenkirk and they don't get to spend enough time together because of all the rotating scratches.

This isnt about Lias, in fact I'm happy hes down in the AHL rn. Its about how you overrate Pionk most of the time and say people against pionk are biased even though your prob more biased about him
