Chasing the game. IMO Hayes is our best and most dangerous penalty killing forward. Without him the pk gets a lot worse.

Are you kidding me? Where did you hear that? If that’s true, then it’s extremely disappointing. This season already saddens me. And that would just about be the icing on the cake. One of my favorite players giving up like that? Jeez.

Don't misunderstand, I don't think he's giving up. AFAIK he doesn't tank it and takes pride in being a professional athlete, just the person I talked to was similarly disappointed he wasn't the above and beyond type.

Never liked Buch. He’s a classic Russian player who is not tough enough nor skilled enough to play in the NHL. The KHL is littered with these same types. Prediction, Buch will be in the KHL is less than 3 years.

He's an average 2nd liner who would look a lot better if he had chemistry with anyone. You're being too harsh IMO.

Not quite as drastic, but in many expansion arenas, they have that stupid LED ribbon board which does change the light on the ice. I’ve wondered if that could affect a goaltender.

At least Hayes provides solid minutes and protects the top line to a degree. The top line has no protection now.

But they've basically been playing like a bottom 2 team even with Hayes, now they're playing like the worst team in the league without him.
